Jazz Night with Shadow Quintet

February sees the first visit of this exciting line up from the Shadow Quintet.

Expect to hear spiritual jazz from the sixties and seventies, drawing on influences from the likes of Joe Henderson, Alice Coltrane, Chico Hamilton and the sounds of the wonderful Impulse record label from the sixties and seventies.

The Shadow Quintet are:

Leon Johnson: sax

Pete Williams: sax, clarinet and flute

Jonnie Kahn: guitar

Paul Baxter: double bass

Paul Hession: drums
